Frequently Asked Questions

1、Can the EW7002 carry someone weighing close to 400 lb?

No. Its listed maximum capacity is 300 lb, so a user near 400 lb needs a higher-capacity model. The carbon-fiber construction reduces chair weight; it does not increase the approved user-weight limit.

2、Can I rely on the EW7002 for a full day away from home?

The listed range is 9.3 miles per charge. Plan by total travel distance, including the return journey, rather than hours away from home. Hills, rider weight, and battery condition can reduce range. The joystick display shows battery information, and the removable battery allows charging without moving the entire chair.

3、I receive disability benefits. Can Medicare cover my EW7002 purchase?

We do not process EW7002 purchases through Medicare or other medical insurance. Receiving disability benefits does not change that purchasing arrangement. HSA/FSA payment is available for eligible purchases.

4、Do I need a trailer or vehicle lift to transport the EW7002?

Not necessarily. Its listed weight is 26 lb, and its folded dimensions are approximately 23.6 × 13.8 × 29.5 inches. Check your trunk opening and lifting ability. A lift may still be useful if raising the chair to trunk height is difficult.

5、Can my 75-year-old parent use it without doing everything shown in the video?

Age alone does not determine suitability. Evaluate joystick control, transfers, folding, and lifting separately. The chair has a joystick display and contoured back support, but someone who drives independently may still need help transferring or loading it.

I was expecting it to feel like a lightweight toy because of the weight, but it doesn't. The carbon fiber frame actually feels really solid. The joystick is super responsive too—I can steer it with just my thumb, and it moves exactly how I want it to. It doesn't jerk around. The battery is easy to pop off and charge, and the seat is surprisingly comfortable for long periods. I've been using it for a week, and it's held up great.

Light, easy to fold, sturdy. Not three things you usually get together, but this one has all three. I can move it myself without help. It folds up in seconds, and it fits in the trunk without much room. And even though it's light, it doesn't feel flimsy—the carbon fiber frame is solid, and it rides steady.

The power switch is right under the seat, which I like. Overall, the design is well thought out. I've been using it for about four days now, and so far it's been easy. It folds up without much effort, and the seat is comfortable enough to sit in for a while. I use it around the house and when I'm out running errands. The battery lasts for days, so I don't have to charge it every night. The controls are simple, and I figured them out in a few minutes. Works for me.

I don't like heavy wheelchairs. I had one before, and it was a pain to move around. This one is 26 pounds—really light. I can lift it with one hand. Folding is simple too, and it doesn't take up much room when it's stored. The carbon fiber frame is what makes it this light, and that's the part I care about. No regrets.

My mom wanted a light wheelchair, and this one fit the bill. She likes it. It's easy for her to move on her own, and the joystick is simple. She uses it around the house and out to the park. Not bad.

Overall, it's a solid wheelchair. There's a light on the control panel. Helps when it's dim out.

Just got it today. Put it together in a few minutes, and I figured out how to use it right away. The seat is comfortable, and the backrest is mesh, so it doesn't feel hot. Taking it out tomorrow.

Picked this new model for my parents, and the best part is that they don't need me for anything. My dad can get it out of the car himself, unfold it, and ride it. My mom uses it in the house when she's tired. It's light, so neither of them has to wait for me to visit. It even has an LED light, which helps when they're out in the evening. That was the whole point of buying it.

I keep mine in the back of my car, and honestly, I forget it's there. It doesn't weigh the car down, and it doesn't eat up much space. When I need it, I lift it out with one hand. When I don't, it just sits there. That's what I wanted—something that doesn't make a big deal out of itself.

Just got this one a few days ago. Still figuring it out, but so far it's been easy to use. It's light, folds up fast, and the seat is comfortable. I took it out for the first time this weekend. So far, no complaints.

Bought the 39-pound wheelchair from this brand before. It's not bad, so when this new carbon fiber chair came out, I figured I'd give it a shot. First thing I noticed is how light it is. Folds up easy, and it's super easy to lift and move around myself without asking for help. Their stuff has always been good to me, and this one's no different. Didn't know what to expect from a new model, but I'm glad I tried it. Really happy with it, and I've already told a couple of friends about it.

I live alone, and I needed something could get in and out of my car by myself. At 26 pounds, I can lift it easily, fold it up and just put it in the trunk. And when I get where I'm going, I take it out and unfold it.
The battery pops off easily,it looks like a little suitcase—so I can carry it inside and charge it without bringing the whole chair in. The joystick shows my speed and battery level, which I like because I always know where I stand. The backrest design is nice too, and it's comfortable to sit in.

We have a few steps up to the front porch. This wheelchair is light enough that I can even carry it with one hand, and my sister can pick it up without any trouble. The battery goes about 15 miles on a charge, which is plenty for my hang out.
